Motion Recruitment Partners Director, MSP - Remote in Boston, Massachusetts

We are seeking a Director to join our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team in a virtual/remote setting.

The Director will not only serve as the main point of contact for an existing client, but you will also play a crucial role in identifying expansion opportunities as well as building out Sevenstep’s direct sourcing capabilities.

As a Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Leadership Oversight: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team, ensuring alignment with client objectives and priorities

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the client organization, understanding their needs and objectives to deliver customized solutions

  • Supplier Management and Strategy: Oversee the management of supplier relationships including vendor selection, performance evaluation, and contract negotiations. Develop and implement strategies to optimize supplier partnerships and drive cost savings

  • Direct Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement direct sourcing strategies to attract top talent, leveraging innovative sourcing techniques and technology platforms

  • Operational Governance: Provide functional management oversight, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices in contingent labor management

  • Operations Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Escalation Point of Contact: Serve as the primary escalation point for any issues or concerns raised by the client, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction

  • Develop and deliver best-in-class monthly and quarterly business reviews

To be considered, you must:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in contingent labor management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, including implementing and/or overseeing a direct sourcing program

  • Possess a strong understanding of MSP programs and best practices

  • Be willing to travel for internal and client meetings like Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), process improvement workshops, trainings, etc.

  • Have a proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships

  • Preferably possess certification in contingent workforce management (i.e. CCWP)
