Azure Cloud Engineer

We are transforming clinical credentialing through the creation of a secure and trusted digital marketplace where healthcare and other professional organizations can buy and sell verified credentials. As a fully funded start-up, we are seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to round out the initial team. This position is a 3 month Contract- with potential to extend/ convert. Responsibilities:

• Drive the securing, deploying, scaling, and optimization of cloud-based applications in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment.

• Assist the software development team in managing code and building/deploying new releases.

• Develop corporate security policies.

• Interact with clients and partners during platform security reviews.

Cloud Engineering Activities:

• Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.

• Deploy and debug cloud initiatives as needed, following best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Actively monitor and troubleshoot production environments.

• Recommend upgrades or downgrades of cloud services based on continuous cost/benefit analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year, accredited academic institution or equivalent work experience demonstrating advanced knowledge and professionalism.

• 3-5 years of cloud management experience (Microsoft Azure required).

• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, Microsoft Certified) preferred.

• Windows Server administration required.

• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure environments, provisioning, and management required.

• PowerShell scripting required.

• Linux-based server administration experience preferred.

• Database support/management exposure preferred.
