Join an innovative and stable team where you will design and implement cutting-edge database-driven data storage, reports, and exports for large geo-coded and time series datasets with revision tracking. You’ll work on exciting projects involving configuration parameters and values for satellite networks, telemetry monitoring, and validation of performance data, as well as integrating flight information from diverse sources.

You’ll interface with state-of-the-art AWS Data Lake databases and create intuitive intranet web interfaces for parsers and performance reports. Additionally, you’ll showcase your creativity by developing wireframes, documentation, flowcharts, and models to illustrate solutions. This role also involves crafting custom parsing applications, designing advanced software tools, and performing geospatial analyses and visualizations. This opportunity is on contract and is fully remote. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ YOE in Software Development or a combination of IFE (Inflight Entertainment) Systems/Engineering experience

• BS in CS or related field

• MatLab

• Java or Python analytical experience, handling big data

• AWS

• Proficiency in Spatial Database, Time Series Database, or related database types

• Skilled in PostgreSQL client applications and utilities

Desired Skills & Experience

• DynamoDB (training available if proficient in other databases)

• Familiarity with open-source and product-based geographic mapping tools (Google Earth, MapServer, ArcGIS)

• Exposure to analytics engines for data visualization in 2D and 3D (Google Charts, Elastic, plotly)

• Experience writing SQL and MySQL queries

• Ability to collaborate across teams

• Strong documentation skills
